LESTER BRAD JOSLIN

JUNE 28TH, 1965 - APRIL 17TH, 2018

Lester Brad Joslin Jr died April 17th, 2018 from a massive heart attack in his home within the West Thurston Community. He was born June 28th, 1965 in Shelton, Washington. Brad was a loving and devoted father, husband, and friend. He was known and remembered for many things, none more than the devotion he had for his family. If Brad wasn't telling a joke and making the room laugh he could be heard speaking about his wife and daughter.

Brad was a strong advocate and supporter of the fire service, taking great pride in his daughter's work at West Thurston Fire. Brad was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who may need it, rain or shine, rested or tired. Brad believed in the mission of the fire service and was ready each year to see the success of the Brent Strong 5k. Brad was a gifted runner coming in 3rd and 4th in the previous races despite the inclement weather. In 2016 after coming in 3rd, Brad gave up his medal to a fire service member he believed exemplified courage and dedication truly exemplifying how Brad chose to live his life.

Brad Joslin is survived by his wife (Yong) and daughter (Jessica), his parents (Brad and Jenny), his Brother (Dennis), his sister (Denise) and a loving extended family. His many devoted loved ones  will miss him.
