West Thurston Regional Fire Authority (WTRFA) is accepting sealed bids per the Detailed Specifications for Ambulances (two new units.) All bids should be marked “SEALED BID/Ambulances” and mailed or delivered to the WTRFA Administrative Offices no later than 3:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2019.
All bids are scheduled to be opened and reviewed by staff on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 9:00 AM at the West Thurston Admin Office.

REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) BID NOTICE
The WTRFA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive variations or informalities, and to negotiate changes, additions, or deletions; however, the WTRFA is not required to negotiate such changes, additions or deletions, or waive variations or informalities. The WTRFA reserves the right to accept the bid it deems to be in the WTRFA’s best interest from the most qualified, responsive and responsible bidder, and will not necessarily be obligated to accept the lowest bid. The WTRFA also reserves the right to extend the timeframe to submit bids, as well as extending the timeframe to open the bids. If the bidder represents more than one fire/emergency apparatus company or brands of apparatus, they must only bid the top of the line that meets specifications.
The WTRFA hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for award.
The WTRFA will not be liable for any errors in any bidder proposal and bidders will not be allowed to alter or modify bids after the bid submittal deadline.
Any appeal must be submitted one week from receipt of a written determination from the WTRFA Board that the bidder is not responsible. To be clear, the aforementioned “appeal” may only be based on a written determination by the WTRFA Board that the protesting bidder is not responsible; no other sort of appeal is provided for herein.
